SCHIZZI COLLECION

I invite you to be tantalized and intrigued by my collection of schizzi (sketches). These studies represent not only preliminary steps toward more detailed works but also stand-alone images with playful charm and intrinsic value.

I draw as part of a creative process: to develop ideas, to study the human figure, and as an end in itself. Sketching produces images that capture an impulse. I find the process compelling and worthy of its own spotlight.

For me, this process of using sketches to outline rough ideas and as a means of studying the human figure involves raw, unfiltered creativity. Feeling the sweep of line that runs through a pose, visualizing contour, or exaggerating form - these might be my beginning stages. The results offer a certain immediacy and power.

I find that sketches can convey emotion and meaning even in what might be considered rough or unfinished pieces. It is in these raw moments where the essence of personality often shines through, and viewers can connect on a more intimate level with their thoughts and intentions.

I hope viewers who glimpse my process will explore my collection further and immerse themselves in the inspiration that I attempt to capture through drawing, painting, and sketching.
